Do all coffee shops and restaurants serve the same flavor and strength of espresso?

There is only one way to answer this question correctly. We need to explore the espresso segment of the coffee world and learn more about coffee selection as a coffee shop owner decides what type of coffee bean and espresso will headline their cafe. 3. High Pressure Extraction is the most common method used by coffee shops to create a cup of espresso; the act of forcing hot water from the boiler though ground coffee, which in turn “extracts” flavors, oils, colloids, lipids and other elements create the cup of espresso.
4. Espresso blends come from the mixing of specific coffee beans and how they are roasted.  
5. Professional roasters will have blending goals in mind for specific espresso flavor. The roaster will choose the best bean blends and best roasting levels to attain the desired flavor.
